It also is useful for diabetes since it reduces blood sugar level. It has been used to prevent fainting and dizziness as well. It is excellent for the kidneys and bladder and has antiperspirant qualities. Paeonia suffruticosa Paeonia contains the active component paeoniflorin, among other things.
